Shop for hard-to-find native and companion plants, pottery, house plants, yard decor, and more during our spring Plant Sale! Plus, be sure to check out the following FREE educational programming held during both days of the event:
—10 am & Noon: Guided tours of our Nature Trails. See the beautiful Erythronium (Fawn Lilies) throughout the trails!
—11am & 1pm: Guided tours of our Formal Gardens led by the Lord & Schryver Conservancy.
—2pm: History Talk on the Hunt for Exotic Plants During the Victorian Era. Join us inside the Victorian home as we discuss the frenzied exploration, by intrepid botanists, whose mission was to bring back exotic plants for Victorian collectors!
The museum home will also be open for FREE guided tours at 9am, 10am, 11am, and Noon both days.
This event is designed to help people learn more about native species, so we will have experts available throughout the event to answer questions about plants you are interested in purchasing, those you already own, or species we have here at Deepwood.
A portion of all proceeds benefit Deepwood’s preservation and programs. This event is made possible through City of Salem TOT funding.
