A Night of JOURNEY Hits at Salem’s Riverfront Park

Northwest Events and J-Fell Presents are thrilled to announce a concert featuring Stone In Love [Journey tribute] with opening act Red Light Romeos [Super Sounds of the 70s] at Salem’s Riverfront Park on August 10, 2024. Stone In Love performs faithful renditions of classic hits from one of the most beloved rock groups of all time. They deliver a high-energy performance that showcases all the hallmarks of the Journey sound – soaring lead vocals, lush four-part harmonies, signature guitar licks, fat keyboards, and driving rhythms – on legendary hits known the world over.

“It’s been many years since we’ve played on the waterfront,” says Stone In Love drummer Jason Fellman. “It only seems fitting that the show is co-produced by Northwest Events, the very production company that brought us to Salem for the first time in 2013 for Salem River Rock!”

The concert is also a homecoming for bassist Dain Ryan, who grew up in Salem and attended Sprague High School. “It’s hard to beat the energy and excitement of a hometown show, and I know I’ll be seeing MANY familiar faces in the crowd,” he remarked.

The opening act, Red Light Romeos, performs a wide variety of the 70s radio staples that were hallmarked by smooth harmonies, tasty guitar licks, and indelible melodies. Their set features classics that were recorded by bands like Eagles, Hall & Oates, Fleetwood Mac, Christopher Cross, Boz Scaggs, Doobie Brothers, and more; bands that defined the early FM radio era!
