Salem Vegan Diners cordially invite you to first Sundays dine out, May 6th, at 1:30 p.m. at Marco Polo Restaurant, 300 Liberty St. SE, Salem.  *Order and enjoy dining from the vegan menu. Then welcome our Broad Perspectives speaker, Dr. Anne DeLessio-Parson, who is an educator, sociologist, and demographer, originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and currently teaching at Willamette University. 

DeLessio-Parson will lead us on a thought provoking discussion:  “Eating for Liberation: Food as a Medium for Social Change. We are witnessing an unprecedented, profound shift around veganism and plant-based diets in our society. We can understand these changes from three frameworks.”
