Dr. Andrew Fountain, Professor of Geology at Portland State University, studies the dynamics of glaciers in the Arctic, Antarctica and western North America. Glaciers populate the western US, including Oregon. The presentation will be an introduction to glaciers and how they will play a globally important role over the next century and beyond.
