Former politician, and activist Charles Johnson will be discussing his book “Standing at the Water’s Edge: Bob Straub’s Battle for the Soul of Oregon.” During his discussion Johnson will talk about the role of Straub and McCall, and what would eventually become historic legislation with the Beach Bill. The book is for sale in the Capitol Store and he will be available to sign books after his presentation. This event is sponsored by the Oregon State Capitol Foundation.
