Event Details

The Atkinson Graduate School of Management is hosting a special educational session and networking event at Willamette University for the Salem community, Willamette graduates and students and general digital tech and cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Learn more about the emergent, cutting edge technology known as blockchain from industry experts and Willamette professors, who will help you demystify its complexities while discussing its impact on other industries.

The evening’s program will begin with a presentation from Coinme CEO Neil Bergquist, Coinme Head of Crypto Advisory Nathan Love and initial coin offering (ICO) designer J.R. Willett. Learn how blockchain technology has already changed finance, investing and business; and find out how you can stay up to speed on the industry’s latest trends.

We’ll then get to hear a diverse group of experts sort out various issues related to the growth and adoption of this technology during an engaging panel discussion. Hear from Jameson Watts, AGSM assistant professor of marketing; Robert Walker, AGSM associate professor of quantitative methods; Don Negri, Willamette professor of economics; and Jason Gershenson, an attorney working in tech law; and then stick around for a question-and-answer session.
